The latest adaptation of Jane Austen’s last completed novel “Persuasion” is scheduled to premiere tomorrow, July 15, 2022 on Netflix. A fresh, witty take on one of the most popular Austen’s works is directed by Carrie Cracknell from a screenplay by Ron Bass and Alice Victoria Winslow.

The story follows Anne Elliot, a young Englishwoman of twenty-seven years. After her broken engagement of to Frederick Wentworth, the pair meet again, after no contact in more than seven years.
