FENDI, FRGMT, and Pokémon unite to celebrate the year of the Dragon. The FENDI x FRGMT x POKÉMON collection is a unique fusion of FENDI’s iconic designs with the world-renowned Dragon-type Pokémon, showcasing an inventive blend of high fashion and pop culture.
This collection sees FENDI’s most recognizable icons, the Peekaboo and Baguette bags, for both women and men, alongside the FF logo, engaging with the whimsical world of Pokémon. The playful evolution of FENDI’s expertise in leather goods is evident as they incorporate Pokémon through various stages. From intricate inlays and prints on FF jacquard and FF canvas backings, found not only on the Peekaboo and Baguette but also on shopper bags and men’s camera cases, the collaboration is a celebration of craftsmanship and fantasy.
The collection takes a bold step with full-blown leather 3D marquetry, bringing to life Dragonite and Dratini in new Baguette and Mini Baguette bags, also available in adorable nano sizes. Showcasing FENDI’s mastery in materials, a special Baguette features micro beads FF embroidery with the three Pokémon and fringes. A Peekaboo ISeeU Medium in shiny white croco is adorned with Dragonair and Dratini details on the metal handle and chain strap.
The collaboration extends to mini icons such as the Baguette Pouch, Mini By The Way, and Mini Mon Trésor, along with small leather goods. Dragonite key charms and textile accessories add to the diverse offering. The collection also introduces galvanized brass jewelry, merging FENDI’s iconic FF logo with Pokémon signatures, including Dratini and Dragonair and the famous Poké Ball, which opens to reveal the FF logo.
For a more casual appeal, the line-up includes relaxed clothing such as t-shirts, hoodies, and silk FF pyjamas adorned with Dragonite designs, catering to both men and women. A standout piece is a Dragonite, realized by FENDI’s skilled leather artisans, embodying the Maison’s savoir-faire and playful spirit. This collector’s item, requiring over 30 hours of manual craftsmanship.
The collaboration also extends into the digital realm with a partnership with Pokémon GO. Starting January 4, 2024, Pokémon GO trainers can obtain digital avatar items inspired by the FENDI x FRGMT x POKÉMON collection.
