Loulou de Saison presents the Fall Winter 2026 collection titled Birds of Paradise, examining a French notion of freedom shaped by movement and displacement. Creative Director Chloé Harrouche approaches the season through a distinctly Parisian perspective defined by independence, curiosity, and a willingness to navigate contradiction. The collection reflects this attitude through garments that move between refinement and spontaneity.
FALL WINTER 2026
Harrouche describes the season as an expansion of Parisian sensibility informed by cultural crossings. The designer considers the ways personal style evolves through travel and exchange. These influences shape a wardrobe guided by curiosity and experience. The collection presents elegance shaped by autonomy, with clothing reflecting character formed through encounters and shifting environments.

The narrative also draws from the cosmopolitan atmosphere of New York between the 1960s and early 1990s. During this period the city connected European discipline with a faster pace and heightened visibility. Cultural figures from this era inform the collection’s tone. Mica Ertegun, Maria Callas, and Lee Radziwill appear as reference points for women who carried intellectual depth, composure, and individual magnetism.
Through these references Harrouche develops silhouettes defined by texture and form. Ostrich feathers appear across garments and outerwear, creating surfaces that recall the movement of birds of paradise. These elements introduce a sense of presence within the silhouette. Velvet in deep blue tones adds density to the collection’s material vocabulary, while subtle deer motifs appear within the garments and offer quiet visual detail.

Softness emerges through draped construction and delicate materials. Silk fabrics introduce fluid movement across dresses and separates. Lace adds intricacy and lightness within the collection’s layered compositions. Structured shoulders provide contrast and introduce clear shape within the garments. Sculptural heels extend the collection’s architectural line through footwear.
The collection addresses the needs of women whose lives require adaptability. Harrouche approaches garment design through functionality and transformation. Adjustable collars, hems, and closures allow the wearer to alter the form of each piece. Navy, ivory, charcoal, and anthracite dominate the season. These tones connect historical reference with contemporary wearability. Throughout Birds of Paradise, Loulou de Saison presents elegance defined by attitude and movement, proposing a wardrobe shaped by independence and confident presence.
