
Billionaire Boys Club and TEAM WANG design return with a new collaboration titled Life is a Race, a capsule collection that draws energy from motorsports and refines it into wearable expression. Pharrell Williams and Jackson Wang, the founders of each brand, bring their distinct aesthetics into focus through this second creative linkup, following their June 2024 project TEAM JOOPITER on Pharrell’s auction platform.
This capsule offers more than a set of garments, it reflects a shared view on individuality. Pharrell sees fashion as a mirror to personal evolution, and he applies that perspective to every element of the design process. “Fashion, to me, has always been about individuality and freedom of expression,” he says. “It’s a reflection of who you are and who you’re becoming.”


The pieces in Life is a Race balance function and personal rhythm. Minimalism meets sharp detail in biker jackets, varsity silhouettes, and graphic tees. The tonal varsity jacket leads the lineup as the collection’s standout piece, while biker-style outerwear and layered accessories round out the offering. A black palette dominates, but the introduction of gloss and silver finishes keeps each garment dynamic and fluid.
Jackson Wang injects his own point of view throughout the capsule. Known for his precision and edge, Jackson shaped the collection to reflect a pace set by the individual, not the crowd. “Life is a race, but your own race,” he explains. His approach focuses on authenticity, drawing on the contrast between public performance and personal intention.

The concept of Life is a Race connects with a wide range of movement, on the track, in the city, or across the day-to-day. Its design resists category while channeling two clear voices: Pharrell’s relaxed sensibility and Jackson’s sharper line. A single look can function as performance-wear, off-duty gear, or a style statement, depending on the context.
Alongside the core capsule, an exclusive set of pieces created with JOOPITER expands the release. A moto hoodie, biker jacket, and co-branded T-shirt extend the collaboration across all three platforms: Billionaire Boys Club, TEAM WANG design, and JOOPITER. These items continue the shared visual code, built through motion and stripped-back detail.

The collection launches with an immersive pop-up at Fabula Paris on June 22 and will be available globally on June 25, 2025, through the TEAM WANG design official site, Billionaire Boys Club, and via TEAM WANG’s WeChat Mini Program. The JOOPITER-exclusive pieces will also be available on JOOPITER.com.
