GAPStudio returns with its latest collection for Summer 2025, once again designed by Zac Posen and modeled by Lila Moss. Officially launching on June 20th, the drop builds on the momentum of GAPStudio’s April debut, offering a refined take on seasonal essentials through lightweight fabrics, sculptural shapes, and Posen’s precision tailoring. Worn effortlessly by Moss in the campaign, each look signals a shift in how we approach summer style, fluid, elevated, and grounded in material intelligence.
Crafted inside Gap’s New York headquarters under Posen’s creative direction, the summer capsule emphasizes movement and breathability. At the core is a new take on draped denim, finished with a liquid-soft feel and a breezy, relaxed silhouette that speaks to the comfort of sun-worn garments. A faded, lived-in wash gives the pieces character, while raw edges and let-down hems add tonal contrast through soft texture and subtle wear.

Posen describes the inspiration succinctly: “It’s about the sensation of that first walk along the ocean in jeans.” That tactile memory drives the design forward, materializing in sun-faded denim, voile shirting, and sculptural chambray. Each fabric carries its own weightless quality, serving as the foundation for key styles like the Mid Rise Draped Denim Baggy Jeans, cut with generous volume and finished with an undone hem, and the Draped Denim Romper, a summer-ready piece with western shell snaps and a cinched waist.
Elsewhere in the drop, a pair of High Rise Draped Denim Trousers continues GAPStudio’s exploration of form, while crop denim shirts and voile separates suggest a fresh blur between beachwear and city dressing. Adjustable crepe dresses in abstract prints invite spontaneity, and modern off-shoulder tops reference earlier designs worn by Ayesha Curry, reimagined here in lighter, more wearable formats. One standout is the “Gaptan,” a draped denim and voile shirtdress that encapsulates the entire collection’s design ethos, soft volume, quiet detail, and engineered lightness.

Lila Moss brings the collection to life with ease and confidence, her presence adding a contemporary sharpness to GAP’s nostalgic core. Whether layered for travel, worn as breezy separates, or styled minimally for day-to-night movement, the pieces speak to a versatility grounded in the rhythms of summer, transitional, tactile, and ready for wherever the season leads.
Ranging from $54 to $148, the GAPStudio summer drop will be available online at gap.com, in select international markets, and at seven flagship Gap stores across the U.S. With this second release, Posen and GAPStudio continue to expand the possibilities of American casualwear, bridging coastal ease and thoughtful construction in one cohesive, wearable vision.
