Bernadette unveiled its Spring Summer 2026 collection “Summer Estate.” The presentation captured themes of playfulness, girlhood, and nostalgia. The Bernadette muse returned to her family’s seaside retreat, where every space carried memory and meaning. The collection moved between recollections of the past and anticipation for new experiences, crafting a story of continuity and renewal.
Garments looked sun-faded and gently worn, built to feel free and unrestrained. These summer uniforms reflected the house’s ethos of clothing that can transcend passing trends. Bernadette imagined these pieces as garments to keep, to wear repeatedly, and to pass from mother to daughter. The intention behind the construction invited a lived-in quality while preserving a sense of refinement.

Color drew directly from coastlines in Belgium and Spain, translating the transition of fading skies into fabric. Zipped cable knits carried softness, couture bustier dresses shaped silhouettes for long evenings, and radiant sunset prints stretched across flowing dresses.
Childhood rituals informed another thread of the collection. Collecting shells and summer treasures inspired embroidery and prints that mimicked tactile memories. Shirts and skirts carried shells and beads stitched into their surfaces, while collaged prints brought together fragments of sea life. These elements preserved the wonder of small discoveries and turned them into wearable recollections of time spent along the shore.

The summer house served as a further influence. Bernadette shaped silhouettes around figures known for quiet chic, Audrey Hepburn, Jackie Kennedy, Charlotte York, and Martha Stewart. Crisp shirtdresses, structured jackets, and easy skirts carried a femininity rooted in refinement, evoking the composure of afternoons in a Hamptons estate.
Garden references added another layer. Gingham checks and embroidered insects gave texture, while floral motifs carried intensity reminiscent of a heatwave pressing down on a garden at noon.

Throughout the collection, the Bernadette woman remained connected to her own femininity. Lace, lingerie-inspired florals, and soft draping emphasized sensuality and strength. “Summer Estate” distilled the essence of long afternoons by the sea and in the garden, moments where time slows and intimacy with the surroundings deepens.
Bernadette designed the collection to move easily between home and occasion. Pieces suited afternoons spent in solitude but also gatherings by the shore and summer weddings. With “Summer Estate,” Bernadette created clothing for memory-making, garments that carry the softness of nostalgia while embracing the thrill of the present.
