Carhartt WIP joins forces with British designer Nicholas Daley for Fall Winter 2025, unveiling a 13-piece capsule rooted in shared ties to music and culture. The collaboration honors the pioneering reggae club night founded by Daley’s parents, Maureen and Jeffrey Daley, which ran across Scotland from 1972 to 1982. Through this partnership, Daley reflects his values of community and culture, incorporating nods to both Jamaican and Scottish influences that define his heritage.
Daley’s design language merges functional workwear shapes with offbeat precision and a distinct subcultural edge. His practice often references musical influences, and this collaboration extends that dialogue naturally. Carhartt WIP’s history with creative communities, from DJs to musicians and club regulars, aligns with Daley’s focus on sound, performance, and self-expression through clothing.

Each piece in the collection reinterprets Carhartt WIP’s utility-driven design through Daley’s lens. Custom pin badges and T-shirts reference his parents’ “Reggae Klub” nights, while a record bag in a bespoke tartan, created with the knitting circle led by Daley’s mother, connects the project to family tradition. A short harrington jacket crafted in herringbone twill with contrast corduroy pockets reinforces this sense of ancestry. The color palette, rich blues, greens, and mustard yellows, echoes the St Andrew’s Cross flags of both Jamaica and Scotland.
Carhartt WIP’s classic chore coat appears in navy corduroy and indigo denim with contrast stitching, refining the brand’s workwear archetype. The Vest, Double Knee Pant, and Cargo Pant receive similar treatment, balancing practicality with Daley’s signature flair for subtle detailing. Jersey pieces such as a striped T-shirt with a chest pocket and a hooded sweatshirt accented with corduroy add casual ease. Two headwear styles complete the offering: a striped knitted bucket hat and Daley’s signature Baker Boy cap in heavy canvas, designed to soften with wear.

A collaboration with Japanese incense maker Kuumba International extends the collection beyond clothing. The custom incense sticks capture natural outdoor scents drawn from Jamaica and Scotland, adding a sensory layer to the release. Every piece carries a custom woven label featuring Daley’s hand-drawn logo, inspired by 1970s psychedelic vinyl typography.
Shot and directed by Bolade Banjo with styling by Stephen Mann, the campaign features South London musicians Wu-Lu and Mia Koden alongside U.S. rapper Pink Siifu. Set inside the Peckham Liberal Club, the imagery reinforces the collaboration’s communal focus, with a soundtrack led by Koden and vocals from Wu-Lu and Siifu.

Early access to the capsule opens on October 22 through Nicholas Daley’s website and the Carhartt WIP App, with the official release following on October 23. Global launch events will take place at Carhartt WIP Store Shibuya in Tokyo and Carhartt WIP Store Brooklyn on October 24. The collection will be available at select Carhartt WIP stores and retailers across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region, as well as through both brands’ digital platforms.
