The men’s team will introduce the new Nike uniform on July 18 during its first Mexican league match of the 2026 season. That fixture will give supporters their first look at the kit in competition and mark the first on-pitch result of the agreement.

Nike will supply match kits, training apparel and travel gear to the men’s team, women’s team, youth academy, esports team and technical staff. The deal therefore reaches every competitive branch of the club and creates one equipment program for players, coaches and staff.
The project connects the club’s history, red and white identity and relationship with supporters to its plans for the coming years. Chivas enters the partnership with 120 years of history in Mexican football. The club has built a following of over 40 million fans in Mexico, the United States and other countries. Its policy of competing with Mexican players has shaped its identity. Supporters have carried that tradition from one generation to the next.

Club president and owner Amaury Vergara described the agreement as an important step in Chivas’ development. He said Nike brings international experience in innovation and athlete service. Both organizations also share a vision for the club’s future. Vergara stressed the importance of strengthening ties with supporters and inspiring younger fans who recognize themselves in Chivas.
Nike Football Vice President and General Manager Camilo Andrade also pointed to the club’s history and its bond with generations of fans. He connected the agreement to Nike’s long-term work in Latin American football and said the company plans to support Chivas by listening to athletes and serving players and communities in Mexico and other markets.

The partnership also gives Nike a major platform for its wider football plans in the region. The company aims to support athletes at every level, invest in the women’s game, advance product innovation and create new experiences for players and supporters.
Fans in Mexico can access the home and away collection early through nike.com, the Nike App, Tienda Chivas online, Nike Madero, Nike Andares and official Chivas stores. Nike will launch the kits globally on July 22 through its channels and select retail partners.
