adidas Originals and Bad Bunny continue their F50 Ghost Sprint series with a new Black edition, following the earlier Blue release and Green shock drop. The latest colorway develops the collaboration’s interpretation of the F50 through a darker treatment while retaining the low-profile construction and technical details established across the series.

The F50 Ghost Sprint traces its design language to the 2004 F50 “Spider” cleat, bringing elements associated with adidas Football into a sneaker created for everyday wear. Bad Bunny and adidas Originals introduced the project through a design centered on speed, movement and the football references connected to the original F50.
For the Black edition, adidas keeps the silhouette close to the ground and covers the upper with its distinctive “Araña” web system. The structural cage wraps around the shoe and provides flexible stability and breathability. Beneath it, deconstructed spacer mesh adds another technical layer while responding to the warm conditions associated with Puerto Rican summers.
The monochromatic treatment gives the construction greater visual definition. Black runs across the sneaker and places greater attention on the web-like cage, mesh structure and streamlined profile.
Puerto Rico’s wolf spider remains central to the concept behind the F50 Ghost Sprint. The animal informed Bad Bunny’s interpretation of movement through patience, instinct and timing. That reference connects directly to the Araña structure that defines the upper and gives the sneaker one of its most recognizable features.
The collaboration takes those ideas from football and places them within a wider street context. adidas Originals and Bad Bunny designed the F50 Ghost Sprint for athletes, football fans and people drawn to the visual language surrounding the sport. Its slim shape and technical construction retain clear links to performance footwear while moving the design away from the pitch.
The Black release continues a sequence that began with the Blue F50 Ghost Sprint, which referenced the 2004 “Spider” lineage. A Green version followed through a shock drop before adidas Originals and Bad Bunny introduced this third chapter.
The adidas Originals BAD BUNNY F50 Ghost Sprint in Black launches on August 29, 2026, through the CONFIRMED App and adidas’ Bad Bunny platform. The sneaker carries a retail price of $160 USD.
