Jordan Brand introduces the Women’s Air Jordan 1 High OG Nails and Grails, a manicure-inspired edition of the classic sneaker finished in University Red, Light Soft Pink and Metallic Silver. The release uses glossy patent leather, decorative metal details and custom accessories to develop its theme while keeping the familiar Air Jordan 1 High OG construction intact.

Light Soft Pink leather forms the base of the upper, while University Red patent leather covers the overlays and creates the shoe’s lacquered finish. Red also appears on the Nike Swoosh, while white sections break up the upper and keep the color blocking close to the recognizable AJ1 format.
Metallic Silver hardware adds another layer to the design. Jordan Brand uses metal for the Wings logo and a smaller Jumpman emblem, giving the sneaker reflective detailing that connects with the manicure concept. Nike Air branding remains on the tongue, referencing the original Air Jordan 1.
The theme continues inside the shoe with insoles featuring manicure graphics. Jordan Brand also includes a five-piece set of glue-on nail decorations with the release. The charms include hearts, Jumpman logos and four-point stars, extending the concept beyond the sneaker itself.
Underfoot, the design features a semi-translucent University Red rubber outsole. Nike Air cushioning sits inside the midsole, while perforations at the toe provide ventilation. These functional elements follow the standard construction associated with the Air Jordan 1 High OG.
The “Nails and Grails” concept draws directly from nail culture, with the patent leather finish referencing freshly polished nails and the accompanying charms developing that idea in a more literal way. The release also connects with nail salons and the social culture surrounding them.
Jordan Brand will release the Women’s Air Jordan 1 High OG “Nails and Grails” on September 2, 2026. The adult pair carries style code FD2596-601 and a retail price of $185. Little Kids’ sizes will retail for $85, while the Toddler version will cost $70.
The release adds a highly specific visual concept to the Air Jordan 1 lineup, using patent leather, silver hardware and manicure references to give the women’s edition its own identity.
