Louis Vuitton introduces five Tambour Spin Time references to its permanent collection, following the limited-edition models that arrived in 2025. The new watches develop the Spin Time through color, precious materials and complications, while La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton continues to handle the movements, cases and dials in Meyrin, Geneva.

Michel Navas and Enrico Barbasini created the Spin Time concept in 2007 after mechanical departure boards in airports and railway stations inspired a new approach to the jumping hour complication. They translated that idea into 12 rotating cubes arranged around the dial. Louis Vuitton debuted the Tambour Spin Time in 2009 with the first movement La Fabrique du Temps developed for the House.
Louis Vuitton acquired La Fabrique du Temps in 2011. In 2019, the House introduced the Spin Time Air, opening the dial architecture to expose the cubes around the movement. The 2025 generation introduced a new case and a family of in-house movements, with La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton producing every principal component internally.
The Tambour Spin Time Green uses a 39.5 mm white gold case with a deep green sunray and sandblasted dial. Twelve numbered cubes indicate the hours, with a lighter cube identifying the current hour. Louis Vuitton pairs the watch with a green rubber strap featuring a quilted V-motif. A sapphire crystal case back reveals the ST13.01 calibre, its free-sprung balance wheel and an 18-carat rose gold oscillating weight.
The Tambour Spin Time Australia’s Opal introduces an 18-carat rose gold case to the Tambour and places Australian opal throughout the dial. The stone shifts through indigo, teal and cerulean tones according to the light. Baguette-cut diamonds mark the hours, while baguette-cut sapphires line the bezel and lugs. La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton’s specialists spend three full days completing the gem setting. A blue rubber strap completes the watch.
For the Tambour Spin Time Air Blue, Louis Vuitton uses a 42.5 mm white gold case and a matching calfskin strap. The ST13.01 calibre sits within the open construction, while 12 rotating cubes spell the letters of Louis Vuitton. Satin and polished surfaces finish the cubes, and small polished studs reference the rivets used on the House’s historic trunks.
The Tambour Spin Time Air Antipode Blue displays 24 major time zones through 12 cubes. Each cube carries two cities separated by 12 hours and uses its background color to indicate day or night. A miniature-painted yellow pointer indicates local time, while the crown controls the integrated Antipode complication. Louis Vuitton houses the ST12.01 calibre inside a 42.5 mm white gold case.
The Tambour Spin Time Air Flying Tourbillon Salmon combines a salmon dial with platinum and a tan calfskin strap. Its LFT ST05.01 calibre pairs the floating Spin Time Air display with a central flying tourbillon shaped as a Monogram flower. Assembly requires 50 hours. Louis Vuitton also spends approximately twice as long producing the platinum case compared with the collection’s white and rose gold cases.
The five watches extend Spin Time into the permanent Tambour range through distinct colors, materials and mechanical configurations while retaining the rotating cube system that has defined the complication since its 2009 debut.
