Collaborations have been the centerpiece of every Supreme season for more than two decades. Supreme collaborations are notoriously revealed the week they drop, with the limited nature and surprise appearance leading to some of the greatest resale values of any item in the brand’s collection. While collaborations are as rare as they appear to be random, certain pairings are not just expected, but eagerly anticipated throughout several seasons. The North Face sticks out among these long-standing partnerships.

Supreme and The North Face have a long history together. Since 2007, the two have collaborated on over 20 collections, many of which have matured like fine wine on resale marketplaces. The duo’s Fall/Winter 2021 collection, on the other hand, may be their greatest yet. The two companies have developed a relationship that has resulted in a multitude of styles, passionate followers, and cultural moments, all of which have resulted in enormous revenue gains for both.

The collaborations have resulted in some of Supreme’s most sought-after items. Supreme x The North Face releases are ones to look forward to in the fashion calendar, thanks to a mix of New York street style and Californian outdoor expertise. Supreme has gained access to unique The North Face items as their collaboration has gotten stronger. Supreme has had access to The North Face’s archive as well as cutting-edge technology in recent years. Supreme x TNF has remained a popular feature of Supreme seasons thanks to all of these qualities.

In anticipation of the new drop, we take a look at some of our favorite Supreme x The North Face pieces so far.

Fall Winter 2014 Supreme x The North Face Mountain Parka

Fans of The North Face and Supreme loved the paisley design on the Mountain Parka, Rolling Thunder Travel Pack, Dolomite Sleeping Bag, Thermoball Traction Mule shoes, and gloves. The Mountain Parka, on the other hand, is without a doubt the most sought-after item from the collection. The Mountain Parka was available in both blue and red and had a huge paisley design throughout as well as typical branding on the arm.

Spring Summer 2014 Supreme x The North Face Expedition Coaches Jacket

The Expedition Coaches Jacket, which featured a big atlas map of the world, was unquestionably a statement piece. Every continent was represented on the sleeves, chest, front, and rear of the Supreme x TNF jacket. This Supreme jacket, like the Summit Series Jacket from 2008, has huge branding along the left arm and six flags on the chest. It’s reasonable to say that this was a worldwide smash success, selling out in seconds and fetching over four times its initial price on the resale market.

Fall Winter 2015 Supreme x The North Face Mountain Pullover

Supreme covered the best selling The North Face Mountain Jacket in large graphic branding with a single message: “By Any Means Necessary.” Malcolm X’s iconic statement was used to adorn an entire Supreme x The North Face collection. This was a one-of-a-kind collaboration that included everything from Nuptse Jackets to Basecamp Crimp Backpacks. This Mountain Jacket, on the other hand, is possibly the greatest piece from the collection.

Fall Winter 2017 Supreme x The North Face Leather Nuptse

The Nuptse Jacket was first introduced in 1992 when TNF decided to improve its goods by speaking with athletes, mountaineers, and members of the US Marine Corps. Supreme developed 3 Leather Nuptse Jackets for the FW17 season, each incorporating all of The North Face’s signature elements. Across the three colorways, the relatively modest design centered on using high-quality leather. Supreme’s tribute to the classic colors of The North Face Nuptse Jacket is available in black, yellow, and red.

Spring Summer 2020 Supreme x The North Face Cargo Jacket

This cargo jacket has been one of the centerpieces of the SS20 campaign, The jacket features a pink, purple, and lilac dyed design, as well as bold branding on the back and discreet branding on the arms. You may be confident that the value of this jacket will only rise with time.

There are still a couple of cold days left until Spring finally arrives. A perfect opportunity to wear pieces from the most recent Supreme x The North Face Fall Winter 2022 collection.

Supreme X The North Face Fall 2021 Collection

The collection comprises a Coldworks 700-Fill Down Parka, Steep Tech Apogee Jacket, Steep Tech Fleece Jacket, Steep Tech Pant, Hooded Sweatshirt, T-Shirt, Steep Tech Backpack and Steep Tech Headband. The Supreme branding is featured all over the Steep Tech components of the collection, with varied letter sizes and colors throughout the body. The capsule’s items will be available in three colorways: white, black, and teal, and will be made of water-resistant nylon to withstand the winter weather. The collaboration t-shirt will also have an extra green makeup.

The 700-Fill Down Parka from Coldworks is made of water-resistant nylon with 700-Fill down insulated inside baffles. Water-resistant DryVent® bonded nylon and completely sealed seams are featured on the Steep Tech Apogee Jacket and Pant. Polar fleece is used in the Steep Tech Fleece Jacket and the Steep Tech Headband. The Mountains Hooded Sweatshirt is made of cotton fleece and has a lenticular logo patch, while the Mountains Tee is made of cotton and has printed logos. Water-resistant 1200D poly and 840D ballistic nylon make up the Steep Tech Backpack.

Not only do the pieces appear great in a way that streetwear lovers will enjoy. The Nuptse puffer, as well as the Mountain Jacket and Mountain Pant constructed of DryVent bonded nylon, are waterproof, as are the Mountain Jacket and Mountain Pant. The deep-pile fleece used in the Fleece Jacket, on the other hand, provides increased warmth.
