They claimed the screenshots were “altered” and “taken out of context.” Adidas, involved in the controversy due to their collaboration with Rubchinskiy, stated they would investigate the claims.
This appointment is particularly notable given that it comes just over a year after adidas terminated its contract with Ye over anti-Semitic statements. The deal, initially set to run until 2026, was cut short due to these statements.
