Valentino Garavani and Vans have joined forces for an exclusive sneaker collaboration that redefines the classic Vans Authentic silhouette. This partnership, first revealed during the Valentino Le Méta Théâtre Des Intimités runway show in Paris, merges the rebellious spirit of Vans with the legendary craftsmanship and creative vision of Maison Valentino under Creative Director Alessandro Michele. The result is a collection that celebrates authenticity, individuality, and the enduring appeal of iconic footwear.

The Vans Authentic, originally introduced in 1966, has long been a staple in the world of skate and streetwear. For Fall/Winter 2025-26, Valentino Garavani and Vans reinterpret this iconic low-top with a series of bold designs and elevated details. Crafted with sturdy canvas uppers and the unmistakable rubber waffle outsole, the Valentino Garavani and Vans sneakers maintain the timeless attitude that has defined the silhouette for generations.

The Valentino Vans Sneaker collection features six distinct variations, each available for both women and men. The range includes vibrant colorways, playful patterns, and co-branded insoles that highlight the creative synergy between the two brands. Notably, the edition featuring the whimsical Valentino Le Chat de la Maison motif is offered exclusively through Valentino boutiques, valentino.com, and the Vans flagship store on Oxford Street in London. This exclusivity adds a unique dimension to the collaboration, appealing to sneaker collectors and fashion enthusiasts alike.

Each pair arrives in specially designed packaging that reimagines the classic Vans checkerboard motif with the Valentino VLogo Signature, underscoring the fusion of heritage and innovation. The attention to detail extends to every aspect of the release, from the bespoke box to the curated campaign visuals, which were generated using AI based on original imagery captured during the Paris runway presentation. All visuals were created with the informed consent of the models and creative talents involved, ensuring an authentic and respectful representation.

The Valentino Garavani and Vans sneakers will be available on valentino.com beginning September 12th, followed by a wider release in Valentino boutiques worldwide, vans.com, and the Vans flagship store in London starting September 19th. This launch strategy ensures accessibility for a global audience while maintaining the allure of exclusivity for select styles.

The collaboration stands as a creative dialogue between two distinct worlds, Valentino’s legacy of Italian couture and Vans’ deep roots in skate culture and street fashion. Alessandro Michele’s vision breathes new life into the Vans Authentic, infusing it with Maison Valentino’s unmistakable identity while preserving the core elements that have made Vans a global phenomenon for decades. The campaign, with artwork by @EDGLRD and music by @Aniports, features models Bukwop, Shane, Weiyi, and Paul, capturing the spirit of individuality and creative freedom that defines both brands.

Maison Valentino, founded in Rome in 1960 by Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti, remains an enduring symbol of craftsmanship, creativity, and uniqueness. Today, under CEO Riccardo Bellini and Creative Director Alessandro Michele, Valentino continues to set the standard for Haute Couture, ready-to-wear, accessories, and beauty. The Valentino Garavani and Vans collaboration shows the brand’s intention on tapping into the core of the sneaker culture like never before. However, this is not surprising due to Michele’s sneaker focus at Gucci.
