WILLY CHAVARRIA expands his design language with the launch of WILLY Underwear, a gender-inclusive line of briefs and tanks created to bring comfort and sensuality to the most personal layer of dressing. Building on the energy of last year’s distressed underwear release, this new drop continues Chavarria’s dialogue around body, desire, and representation.
The line introduces multiple silhouettes crafted in Peru from ultra-soft Pima cotton. Designed with a variety of body types in mind, the offering includes boxer briefs and briefs with a pouch, as well as regular and high-waisted briefs without one. Complementing the bottoms are full-length and cropped ribbed tanks, creating a modular system of everyday essentials. All styles come in black or white, punctuated by a simple WILLY logo at the center waistband, clean, confident, and unmistakable.

For Chavarria, this collection is a natural extension of his decade-long engagement with a diverse, gender-fluid audience. The designer has long advocated for visibility in fashion, and WILLY Underwear carries that ethos into a space where comfort and identity intersect. “Underwear is our most intimate clothing,” he explains. “I like it to feel good, and make us feel hot.”

The campaign, shot by Diego Bendezu, captures the energy of the collection through intimate, stylized portraits. Styled by Rita Melssen with makeup by Yadim and hair by Joey George, the visuals feature Valentina Ferrer, Hiandra Martinez, Amara Gisele, Lineisy Montero, and Kayla. Their casting, led by Brent Chua, echoes the brand’s commitment to beauty that resists convention. Public figures like Julia Fox, Doechii, and Charli XCX have already shown early support, adding cultural momentum to the launch.

While the pieces serve a practical purpose, they also reflect the broader philosophy that defines the brand. WILLY CHAVARRIA has consistently used fashion as a tool to uplift the underrepresented, pairing emotionally rich design with urgent social narratives. Grounded in his Mexican-American heritage and shaped by the culture of the streets, Chavarria’s work continues to blur the line between political expression and wearable art.

WILLY Underwear is available exclusively online. Beyond introducing a new category, the line represents Chavarria’s personal and political vision, centered on the belief that everyone should feel confident and seen, beginning with their most intimate layers.
