Transbay Transit Center created as a massive transit station in San Francisco, will in future connect the city with the rest of the country. In an eco friendly twist, the often unused rooftops of such buildings is this time turned into a 2.2 hectare park. Turned into cities important green spot, the architects have imagined a real urban oasis. Construction is scheduled to end in 2017 and it's ongoing by the watchful eye of Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects.
