Needless to say fashion week events just as any large public gatherings are hit hard by the ongoing global pandemic. Milano Fashion Week and Camera Moda have throughout the year tested limited audience runway shows. Nevertheless the Fall Winter 2021 season was presented as an entirely digital event due to tight COVID19 restrictions prohibiting any public gatherings. The audience attendance in Milan with warmer weather and open air venue availability alongside fewer restrictions is now back as an option.
“Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana confirms that the next edition of Milano Fashion Week Men’s Collection will take place from June 18th to June 22nd, 2021. These dates were previously agreed on at an international level with the other Fashion Weeks,” shares Camera Moda in their latest official statement.
“Following the confirmation by the Italian Government to hold events and fairs in physical format from 15 June, we are looking forward to a Fashion Week that will include both digital and physical events with an audience,” notes Camera’s press team.
Following Fashion Week in June and September, Milano is hoping for return to their pivotal Salone Del Mobile scheduled to run from September 5th to September 10. However Salone as well as fashion week events are both struggling with difficult attendance of international companies as well as international visitors.
Milano Fashion Week Men’s in June is certainly to stand as the first test for the comeback of the heavily shattered events and conferences industry. Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana is yet to confirm June schedule.
