At the esteemed ‘Palais de Tokyo,’ JUUN.J presented its highly anticipated ‘2024 Spring Summer Season Collection’ in a breathtaking fashion showcase. Embracing the theme of ‘SKIN,’ the renowned brand captivated the audience with an exquisite exploration of contrast and artistry.
SPRING SUMMER 2024 COLLECTIONS
The brand has ingeniously played with contrasting silhouettes, seamlessly combining slim-fitting garments that accentuated the body’s contours with boldly twisted and exaggerated voluminous pieces.
The striking interplay of these elements created a remarkable contrast effect, amplifying the collection’s allure. Within the contemporary atmosphere of Palais de Tokyo, JUUN.J transformed the runway into a spectacle spanning nearly 100 meters, a testament to the grandeur of their vision.
Drawing inspiration from iconic eras, JUUN.J curated a collection of 39 outfits that paid homage to various fashion movements. The skinny aesthetics of the 70s, refined tailoring from the 80s, and the rebellious denims of the 90s converged to shape a cohesive yet diverse range of styles.
Breaking the boundaries of conventional fashion, JUUN.J skillfully blended elements of both ready-to-wear and haute couture. Tops and bottoms seamlessly merged, crafted from an array of materials including luxurious leather, denim, sumptuous wool, comfortable jersey, and shimmering sequins. The color palette echoed the collection’s versatility, featuring a harmonious mix of beige, black, navy, khaki, white, silver, and opal.
A remarkable collaboration unfolded as JUUN.J joined forces with Belgian typographic artist Christophe Szpajdel. Through innovative prints and intricate embroidery, they brought specially designed rock graphics to life, adding an edgy and distinctively artistic dimension to the collection.
“We flawlessly conveyed JUUN.J’s essence of contrast within the captivating halls of ‘Palais de Tokyo,’ the epitome of Parisian chic. By incorporating tattoo-style graphics into the ‘SKIN’ theme, we offer a truly unique and unprecedented fashion experience.”
– said Jung Wook-Jun, the visionary creative director of JUUN.J.
