For the covers k-pop star is wearing selected pieces from Polo Ralph Lauren.
Winter, born Kim Min Jeong on January 1, 2001, in Busan, South Korea, has carved a path in the K-pop industry, training for four years at SM Entertainment before making a striking debut with Aespa in 2020. The launch of their hit single “Black Mamba” introduced Winter, alongside Giselle, Karina, and Ningning, as part of the first girl group to emerge from SM Entertainment in six years since the formation of Red Velvet in 2014.
Expanding her influence beyond the music scene, Winter has recently been named the ambassador for Polo Ralph Lauren in Korea. This role underscores her status as a fashion icon, where she is expected to lead various activities and embody Polo Ralph Lauren’s classic design and noble image. Ralph Lauren Korea praised Winter for her ability to perfectly express the brand’s characteristics, highlighting her comprehensive appeal as a leading figure in the girl group scene.
Adding to her list of achievements, Aespa’s music video for “Drama” recently surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, marking it as the group’s seventh video to reach this milestone. The track, which is part of their 4th mini-album released on November 10, 2023, also achieved over 100 million streams on Spotify, setting a record as their fastest song to hit this mark. These accomplishments reflect Winter’s growing popularity as well as Aespa’s rising influence in the global music industry.
