Japanese streetwear label A Bathing Ape (BAPE) has partnered with footwear brand Crocs to release a highly anticipated collection of Classic Clogs, marking their first collaboration. This collection merges BAPE’s signature “ABC Camo” pattern with Crocs’ recognizable silhouette, resulting in a bold, streetwear-driven take on the popular foam clogs. With three distinct colorways – green, blue, and pink – the BAPE x Crocs collection embraces the aesthetics of both brands while incorporating key design elements, including custom Jibbitz™ charms and co-branded detailing.
Design and Features
The BAPE x Crocs Classic Clog collection stays true to the aesthetics of both brands, incorporating the familiar shape and functionality of Crocs while infusing it with BAPE’s unmistakable visual identity. The Croslite™ foam upper is wrapped in BAPE’s “ABC Camo” print, which integrates its well-known Ape Head logo throughout the pattern. Even the adjustable heel strap, often referred to as “sport mode,” is covered in the camo print.
Each BAPE Crocs pair includes a set of custom Jibbitz charms, inspired by BAPE’s most recognizable graphics. The charms feature the Ape Head logo, Baby Milo, Shark, and Tiger motifs, along with the brand’s slogan, “APE SHALL NEVER KILL APE.” These details offer a playful way for wearers to personalize their clogs while incorporating key elements of BAPE’s visual language.

Comfort and Practicality
Crocs’ Classic Clog is known for its lightweight, durable construction and cushioned feel. Made from the brand’s proprietary Croslite™ material, the clog provides a soft, supportive fit that molds to the wearer’s foot over time. Ventilation holes on the upper allow for breathability, while the slip-on design makes them easy to wear. The Bape Crocs collab maintains these core features, ensuring that comfort and ease of wear remain at the forefront. The adjustable heel strap adds versatility, giving wearers the option of a more secure fit when needed.

Release Information
The BAPE x Crocs Classic Clog collection, including the Blue pair as well as the Pink and Green versions, was initially released on March 8, 2025, through BAPE STORE locations and online at BAPE.com. A wider launch follows on March 12, 2025, through Crocs.com and select retailers. The adult-sized clogs are priced at $80, while the kids’ versions retail for $50. Given the popularity of BAPE collaborations and the increasing demand for unique Crocs releases, this collection is expected to sell out quickly.
BAPE’s Legacy in Streetwear
Founded by Nigo in 1993, A Bathing Ape quickly established itself as a defining force in Japanese streetwear. What started as a niche label in Tokyo’s Harajuku district soon became an internationally recognized brand, influencing hip-hop, skate culture, and high fashion. BAPE is known for its camo prints, graphic-heavy designs, and high-profile collaborations.
The brand has worked with sneaker giants such as Adidas, Puma, and New Balance, creating limited-edition footwear that merges its distinct visual language with classic silhouettes. Beyond sportswear, BAPE has ventured into pop culture and entertainment collaborations, partnering with Marvel, Star Wars, and even Pokémon to produce highly collectible apparel and accessories. In the music world, BAPE has been a longtime favorite among hip-hop artists. Pharrell Williams, Kanye West, and Lil Wayne have all been seen wearing BAPE’s iconic Shark Hoodies and camo-covered sneakers.

Crocs’ Expanding Influence
Originally launched in 2002, Crocs built its reputation on comfort and practicality. Initially targeted at outdoor enthusiasts and medical professionals due to their slip-resistant, easy-to-clean design, Crocs clogs have since made an unexpected transition into mainstream fashion. The brand’s ability to reinvent itself through collaborations has been one of the biggest factors in its resurgence.
In the past few years, Crocs has partnered with a wide range of brands and designers. The brand’s collaboration with Balenciaga made headlines when Crocs’ signature foam clogs were transformed into platform heels, redefining how the silhouette was perceived in high fashion. Partnerships with KFC, McDonald’s, and even 7-Eleven introduced novelty-themed clogs.
Crocs has also made a strong impact in the music and entertainment industry. The brand has released exclusive clogs with Post Malone, Bad Bunny, and Justin Bieber, all of whom have played a role in reshaping its public image. These collaborations often sell out instantly, driven by the influence of celebrity endorsement and the ongoing trend of unconventional footwear.
The BAPE x Crocs Classic Clog collection is a natural evolution for both brands, combining BAPE’s bold, graphic-heavy aesthetic with Crocs’ recognizable, comfort-first design.

bape and crocs seems like the most terrible mix, and these are so ugly. But then why do I want them ?
