Denton Corker Marshall’s scheme for the refurbishment and redevelopment of Melbourne’s iconic Windsor Hotel has received planning and heritage backing to proceed. Victoria’s Planning Minister, Justin Madden, has granted a conditional planning permit, following Heritage Victoria’s conditional consent to the proposal.

The redevelopment is necessary to ensure the hotel remains a world class venue, providing the range and number of guest rooms, dining options, function rooms, indoor pool, gymnasium and spa areas commensurate with the world’s great grand hotels. Its owner, the Halim Group, is committed to restoring the Windsor to safeguard its future.
