Converse and Eric Emanuel return with a new iteration of the Chuck 70, introducing a denim-focused update to the classic basketball silhouette. The collaboration continues a shared focus on material selection and detailing, bringing a distinct perspective to a familiar design.

The sneaker features a tri-panel denim upper, combining dark blue tones with lighter wash sections placed on the medial side, heel strip, and tongue. This contrast defines the structure of the shoe while maintaining a cohesive look. Chain stitching reinforces the construction, adding texture that aligns with the denim execution.

The Eric Emanuel “EE” logo sits on the lateral quarter panel, while the medial side carries the signature Chuck patch in a tonal denim finish. Cobranded elements extend to the tongue labels and license plates, with an EE-branded plate placed on the left shoe. Custom laces complete the upper, aligning with the overall design direction.
The silhouette remains consistent with the original Chuck 70 structure. A rubber sole supports the shoe, delivering the expected level of comfort associated with Converse footwear. Ortholite cushioning enhances the interior, improving wearability.

Eric Emanuel is a New York–based designer who built his label through a focused take on American sportswear, with mesh basketball shorts defining his work and earning him the nickname “King of Shorts.” He approaches the collaboration through material and detail. This version of the Chuck 70 reflects that direction, using denim to reshape the visual identity of the model while retaining its recognizable form. The combination of textures and branding elements introduces variation.
The color palette combines Navy, Blue, and Egret, aligning with the denim construction. The mix of tones supports everyday wear and works across different styling approaches, from denim-on-denim combinations to lighter casual outfits.

The Converse x Eric Emanuel Chuck 70 lands Today, April 7, priced at $105 and listed under SKU A19037C-410.
